Broadlands Golf Course

Name change idea: instead of twilight golf, let's call it twinkle and sprinkle. There was no way to avoid massive sprinklers, including on the tee pads, popping up randomly as we were playing. They were on at 8pm well before the sun even sets! We ended up soaking and detoured the last set of sprinklers by going through a random apartment complex and basically through a front lawn. Thank goodness for Google maps! Told the golf cart return crew about how unhappy we were at having to get soaked and skip over holes to play. He said he would inform management. We asked if we could take the cart to our cars to drop off our clubs and he said sure, just go up the path and we could probably avoid the sprinklers that were spraying the cart path. I mentioned "I think I'm getting pretty efficient at dodging sprinklers with a golf cart!"😃 Would have been a beautiful round of twilight golf with a gorgeous sunset, marred by reclaimed city water to the face and body along with our clubs...

I played here once with 11 other friends, and found out the following Monday I had been double-charged. I contacted the pro shop and they asked me to send the bank transaction statement showing the charges to Marco, which I promptly did. No response for several days, so I followed up with another call. PJ at the shop said he’d follow up with Marco, yet several more days went by without a response. Another employee said he would follow up with Marco, but three weeks later…nothing. I gave up and went to my bank to have them dispute the charge. I should’ve done that from the start. I guess I should say something about the course. It’s fine. A bit pricey compared to nicer courses. Maybe after reading this 1-star review, they’ll respond?
